Your player’s registration must be complete for them to participate in WSA team practice

Days, times and locations for each team’s practices are posted on pages 10-11 of our Fall Update HERE, check this practice schedule often as it is subject to change periodically

Please read and review carefully the section of the Fall Update document titled, “Return to Play Considerations” prior to attending first practices

It is the responsibility of all members of our community to ensure a safe and fun environment for our players, to be thoughtful and respectful of teammates and neighbors at every WSA event

As you are doing everyday as is, parents must continue to monitor player health closely, confirm no fever and no other symptoms of illness prior to every WSA event

If you have been in any state on CT's travel advisory list within the last 14 days (see list HERE) or in contact with any person that has been infected with COVID-19 they must not participate for two weeks

Players must bring their own water and ball, no sharing of these items will be permitted, especially water!

Use restroom prior to leaving home, no facilities/porta potties are available at the fields

Arrive at practice 5 minutes before start time, ready to play

All players should wear soccer appropriate attire (shorts and t shirts/ WSA practice gear if you own it), shin guards and cleats to practice

Sanitize hands prior to entering the field (each player should carry in their bag and use their own sanitizer each day)

Player gear should be placed on sideline at a social distance from others, coaches will mark the area for players

All players should wear a mask from car to field and leave mask on until start of practice

Players may practice in masks if they so choose

Coaches will wear masks and maintain a social distance from all players at all times

Huddles, high fives and similar close contact or touching among players will be discouraged

Parents should not stay at practices, but if they must, they should remain in cars, if out of cars, they should stay near car, socially distance and wear masks

First weeks of practices will focus on individual and small group skill work and fitness, rather than full intensity, competitive and contact play

Pick up your player promptly after practice and depart the fields, no post practice gatherings permitted
