3rd-8th Grades (“Just for Kicks”)

WSA’s 3-8th grade intramural program provides the opportunity to continue skill development and enjoyment of soccer in a program that is convenient and accessible to every player. It is endorsed by The Free Play Matters Task Force of Wilton Youth Council.

3/4th age group is divided by gender (subject to enrollment) and 5-8th age group is co-ed.

Each age group is organized into smaller groups by our professional (and volunteer) coaching staff at each clinic and game session to optimize the experience based on skills, ages and sometimes gender for 5-8th grade (depending on numbers).

Each season we seek to offer two weekday clinics (attend one or both), and a Saturday morning game session, subject to enrollment and field availability.

Teams for games are organized at the field each week based on attendance, skill and age.

The seasons are ~8 weeks long depending on the calendar/holidays and weather. The program is priced at ~$250-300 per player per season before late fees.

See our FAQs for more information and answers to common questions.

Uniforms

Each player should have a WSA jersey and a gold pinney.

3-4th players should purchase the Navy jersey.

5-8th players should purchase the Light Blue jersey.

Each jersey ordered will come with one yellow pinney at no additional cost.

A generous sponsorship by Bridgewater Prep has enabled us to reduce the cost of the WSA jersey and pinney together for just $5.00 total.

Jerseys and pinnies are available via link to webstore below (the jersey item in the store includes a pinnie).  Other items (shorts, socks, jackets etc) are available for purchase at your option.

Please note there is a 2 week lead time on all items. We understand that some items may not be available for the first weeks and that’s ok. We’ll have some extra pinnies. Just come ready to play!

For the clinics, players should try to bring their pinnie and may wear their jerseys if they choose.

For the Saturday games, each player should wear a WSA jersey and bring their gold pinnie.
