Donations

WSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Tax ID: 06-0972628). Our per player fees are set at the lowest possible levels to ensure that we cover the costs of delivering great soccer experiences for Wilton players in a given season and the future. We rely on these fees, plus the generosity of sponsors and our members to support the growth of our program, as well as the ability to offer financial aid to players/families in need and to support our contributions to annual scholarship awards.

Checks may also be sent to Wilton Soccer Association, P.O. Box 311, Wilton, CT, 06897

Financial Aid

WSA seeks to ensure that every Wilton child, regardless of family financial circumstances can play. For a child to receive a waiver or reduction of registration fees, written documentation supporting the necessity of the request may be required. Any family may request consideration for financial aid by submitting the Financial Aid Request Form in advance of the season for which their child is interested in playing.

To apply for Financial Aid, please complete the forms HERE and email them to president@wiltonsoccer.info for consideration.

Scholarships & Awards

NICK MADARAS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Madaras family and WSA are honored to select and award an annual scholarship(s) in the name of American hero, and Wilton-native, PFC Nick Madaras. Nick played soccer in Wilton as a youth and at Wilton High School before enlisting in the U.S. Army. Nick was awarded a Purple Heart for bravery, a Bronze Star Medal for dedication and many other accolades for his service to our country. When abroad serving, Nick began a tradition of using a soccer ball to encourage diplomacy and dialogue which had the effect of establishing common ground with local, war-torn people and communities. The Kick for Nick Foundation, established in his name, has continued this legacy.

The Madaras Scholarship recognizes Wilton High School soccer players who have best embodied the leadership, commitment, sportsmanship and teamwork that characterized Nick’s contributions to the Wilton High School soccer team, community and country. The deadline for applications is mid November each year.

THE MARSHALL RAIDBARD MEMORIAL AWARD

As a member of the The Southwest District (SWD) of the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA), WSA participates with other SWD member clubs to offer an annual financial award. The application process and administration of the award is managed by the CJSA SWD. The CJSA SWD established the scholarship to honor Mr. Marshall Raidbard, who served in a volunteer capacity as vice president to the district for many years. The amount of the award varies from year to year, but is typically in the range of $1,500 - $2,000. The award is presented to graduating high school seniors pursuing a higher education that has been involved with a SWD program (player, referee, coaching). The number of awards granted will depend on the number of member clubs that sponsor the scholarship program. The deadline for applications is in June each year.
